A Micropile is a little-diameter (typically lower than twelve inches), drilled and grouted substitute pile that typically is strengthened. A micropile is created by drilling a borehole, placing reinforcement, and grouting the opening. Micropiles can endure axial and/or lateral loads, and will be deemed a substitute for traditional piles or
